Introducing Me

My name is Cristina Berardine and as a student at Conestoga College in the Office Administration - Legal program, I am required to write a blog about the process of finding and completing a three week field placement. This blog will allow me to reflect on this process as well as follow the journey of my fellow classmates!

I am a 21 year old student who is hard working individual. I am eager and motivate to apply all of the knowledge and skills that I have learned throughout my program in this upcoming work placement. I am excited to have the opportunity to continue to learn more about the law and build my skills.

My preferred area of law is real estate and I would like to work somewhere close to Guelph, Ontario. Because of this, I am interested in working at a law office in Elora. This law office practices all areas of law but it mainly focuses on real estate, which is why I think this would be a good fit for me. I have taken the initial steps in order to apply for this position. I have contacted the current Legal Assistant with a copy of my cover letter and resume. This morning, I received an email and I have now set up a interview for later this month! I look forward to meeting with them and hopefully completing my placement there!
